Verified Waste Audit
Where impressions were viewable but not credibly verified as real viewer exposure.
A bounded pilot on one campaign. A signed, independently reviewable report. A clear view of viewable-but-unverified spend — without creating a new privacy problem.
What the audit is
The Verified Waste Audit is Veroface's first commercial offer: a bounded pilot on one live campaign. It measures where impressions were counted as viewable but lacked verified viewer proof, then delivers a signed, independently reviewable report.
The report is designed to help media teams assess spend quality, suitability-sensitive exposure, and whether the output is usable for internal review, vendor challenge, or compliance-oriented workflows.
Veroface is not asking for a platform replacement. The audit is a single campaign, a single pilot window, and a single report.
What it measures
- —Impressions counted as viewable that lacked verified viewer proof
- —Spend attributed to the viewable-but-unverified category
- —Exposure quality signals across the audited campaign window
- —Suitability-sensitive placement concentration where applicable
- —Per-event classification structured for independent review
Who it is for
Advertisers running regulated or suitability-sensitive campaigns, including alcohol, betting, financial services, pharma, political, and similar categories where exposure quality and defensible reporting already matter.
Brand media leads
Need to know whether viewable impressions were also credibly verified as real viewer exposure — not just served and counted.
Programmatic leads
Need a clear picture of viewable-but-unverified spend in suitability-sensitive or regulated placements.
Media quality owners
Need defensible, signed reporting that holds up to internal review, vendor challenge, or compliance scrutiny.
Compliance and legal
Need a verification methodology that does not introduce new data processing risk into a regulated environment.
The Delivered → Viewable → Verified Viewer flow
Most media measurement stops at viewable. The audit adds the verified viewer stage and quantifies the spend sitting in the gap.
01
Delivered
The impression is served and counted as delivered by the ad stack.
02
Viewable
The impression meets the viewability threshold and is counted as viewable.
03
Verified viewer
The impression has credible, signed evidence of a real human viewer at the time of exposure. This is the gap the audit measures.
Process
01
Pilot-fit conversation
30 minutes. We review one campaign, confirm it is a fit for the audit methodology, and agree on the pilot window. No platform replacement, no broad commitment.
02
Campaign instrumentation
We instrument the agreed campaign scope. Signed attestations are generated on-device using ephemeral Ed25519 keypairs. No raw imagery leaves the device. No biometric store is required.
03
Evidence collection window
Events are collected and signed in real time across the pilot window. Every event carries a cryptographic signature verified server-side before entering the audit record.
04
Signed report delivery
You receive a structured, independently reviewable report: viewable-but-unverified impression counts, attributed spend, per-event evidence, and a verification guide.
Report contents
The audit report is a structured, signed package. It is designed for presentation to media, finance, compliance, and operations stakeholders — not only technical reviewers.
- ✓Viewable-but-unverified impression count for the audited campaign
- ✓Attributed spend in the viewable-but-unverified category
- ✓Per-event evidence rows with Ed25519 cryptographic signatures
- ✓Waste classification: verified / unverified / contested
- ✓Verification guide with Python example and 18-field canonical format
- ✓vf_waste_audit_v1 JSON export for independent validation
Privacy note
Veroface provides verified viewer proof without relying on identity resolution or sending raw imagery off-device. No raw images leave the device. No biometric identity store is required.
The output is privacy-first, audit-ready reporting intended to help buyers evaluate exposure quality without introducing unnecessary privacy risk into a regulated or suitability-sensitive environment.
Every event in the report is cryptographically signed and independently verifiable. You do not need to trust Veroface infrastructure to validate the audit record.
